Carina & Robert

Their dream of owning their own business became reality with the Pension Feldgärtenhof. With a lot of passion they take care of the daily well-being of their guests.

Carina knows the most exciting trails for hiking, E-MTB and trail running and is happy to reveal her secret spots. As a young mum of little Milo, she also takes care of all the nice things in and around the house and takes a lot of time to make your individual holiday planning perfect.
The host and "man for everything" conjures up a delicious breakfast for you every day. His hobbyhorse is the culinary arts and service. As a trained hotel manager, he knows how to put his craft into practice. Even as a child, he knew that he wanted to run the business one day. Inherited in the third generation, he is now taking it to the next level.

In the off-season, both are always continuing their education and exploring other places and cultures.

Environment

The villages Schlanders/Silandro and Kortsch/Corzes

The small village of Kortsch/Corzes is a district of the market town of Schlanders/Silandro, in the middle of the Venosta Valley. Here mainly lives farmers who are active in agriculture.
The people are loving and hospitable and are said to be very creative.
Old customs are gladly passed on to the younger generation and complement each other with the inventive spirit and modern influences of the neighbouring regions. As a border region, the Venosta Valley lives from its diversity. This can also be seen in its culinary delights. Traditional Tyrolean food is mixed on the menus of the local inns with Mediterranean delicacies and regional offers. New influences also come from the so-called returnees, young people who have lived and learned abroad and now return home with new ideas.
Kortsch/Corzes is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. Due to its central location, excursions to the Resia Pass, Switzerland and to Merano and Bolzano, can be optimally planned.
Apple blossom in Venosta Valley

The Venosta Valley

You are in the far west of South Tyrol, in the Venosta Valley. The valley is characterized by the many hours of sunshine all year round, by the fertile meadows and fields and the highest mountains in the country. The Venosta Valley is famous for its Paarl bread, Pala pears, apricots, strawberries, apples, alpine cheese and bacon.
The valley offers many cultural hotspots. The medieval town of Glurns, Italy's smallest town still has a town wall and invites you to stroll through the romantic alleys. Many well-preserved churches from the Romanesque period are open for visits. The Churburg Castle in Schluderns/Sluderno and the Marienberg Abbey are also worth a visit.
With the Resia Lake and the sunken tower in the lake, the Venosta Valley became internationally famous.
In summer, especially the well maintained cycle paths and trails are a highlight for active people. The valley cycle path "Via Claudia Augusta" runs from the Resia pass to Bolzano and even further. In one day you can cycle to Merano and return with the Venosta train.
Hiking on the managed alpine huts and refuges is possible for every level of fitness. New is the Ortler Mountain Trail, a high alpine panoramic path that leads around the King Ortler in seven daily stages.
Adventure seekers can let off steam climbing, paragliding, kite surfing or kayaking.
